Suspend your critical faculty and enjoy the adventures of a smart black woman as she progresses from her home in a remote village to a position of honor and power in England – by building on the witchcraft learnt from her benefactor, Kwaname. The domino effect of a chance encounters sparks a career as consultant assassin, eliminating only serious and otherwise untouchable villains. Nobody knows – not even Nshila – whether witchcraft or modern science was the true cause of death. Public services that can’t possibly be acknowledged bring her national honors as British bureaucrats cynically manipulate their systems.

Fred Mbwele seeks apprenticeship with her. After two dangerous failures they achieve the death of a rich foreign prince who is in reality a terrorist mastermind. Nshila receives a major honor and buys a country estate.

About the Author
Chris Elgood saw a witchcraft trial in Africa in 1957 and was fascinated by the way local witchdoctors adapted western technology. (The Kalilozi Gun). This interest was dormant during working life, but his Handbook of Management Games was judged to be well-written. Could he do creative work? Chris has an MA from Cambridge and scans the press for reports of witchcraft as other cultures now invade the west.
